Climate change, which has the potential to create risks in social and economic life as well as physical environment, is one of the most important global problems of today. Given the energy demand and the rising trend of greenhouse gas emissions, we can foresee that climate change has the potential to create even greater risks.

We consider the efforts to combat climate change not only as a necessity to increase our quality of life in the future or as a necessity for the elimination of risks, but also as an important method to reduce operational costs and provide a competitive advantage in the economic life of the future. Efforts to reduce energy efficiency and greenhouse gas emissions constitute the most important part of our efforts to combat climate change. These efforts reduce the amount of emissions on the one hand, and on the other hand, they support our competitive edge with the cost advantage it provides. For this reason, we see energy efficiency as a continuous improvement area and we carry out project activities in every aspect of our activities.

Like all greenhouse gases, all other air emission values generated in our production process are covered by our control and improvement works. In all production locations, we measure the air emission values in the periods specified in the legal permits and keep them below the limit values.
